Master Mike Stevenson
Master Stevenson has trained in Kokondo Martial Arts for 35 years starting in his mid-teens. He is a Godan (5th degree black belt) in Kokondo Karate and Sandan (3rd Degree Black Belt) in Jukido Jujitsu. He received his instructor's certificate in 1993 and has taught classes for over 27 years.
At the 2001 International Kokondo Seminar, Master Stevenson was awarded with the "Master Bob Longo IKA Award for Excellence". Master Stevenson was one of three people in the International Kokondo Association to receive this yearly honor.

But to have it bear the name of Master Longo makes it that much more special." -Master Stevenson Master Stevenson hosted his first seminar with Shihan Paul Arel in March of 2001. This seminar was featured in the Tri-City Herald on Monday, March 5th 2001. It was also featured on KVEW News as part of their "Safe Neighborhoods" stories on March 7th, 2001.

Sensei Joseph Stevenson
Sensei Joseph Stevenson has trained in Jukido Jujitsu since 1997, starting when he was 5 years old. He started training in Kokondo Karate in 2007 at 15 years old. He is a Nidan (2nd degree Black Belt) in Jukido Jujitsu, and a Shodan (1st degree Black Belt in Kokondo Karate.
After having taught classes on his own in January 2020 he partnered with Master Stevenson at Kokndo Martial Arts of Tooele. Together they now run classes together. |
